In the general section, select Disable touchpad while typing.
If you want to click using the touchpad disabled, do not select the Enable mouse clicks with touchpad. This option may be useful for those accustomed to using an external mouse.
When finished, click the Close button.

Feel the difference, the touchpad is probably too annoying when you use the keyboard, now it will not bother you anymore. Moreover, if your hands and your fingers are more familiar with an external mouse.

If necessary, open the General tab and the other as Accessbiility to change settings, and touchpad mouse to another.
